About Victoria

I grew up in the UK with a love of colour, texture and interiors that feel vibrant and layered. I moved to Australia at 29, and Sydney's light did the rest.

I qualified as an interior designer in 2019, after years in corporate marketing in London and Sydney, a background that shapes how I think about a room: not just how it looks, but how it actually communicates.

Before starting my own practice, I worked alongside established residential designers across the Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches and North Shore, on multi million dollar homes. Styling, sourcing and specifying everything from furniture to finishes. Then from 2021 I ran my own studio, L&VE Design, for four years before starting The Room Assembly.

I've spent the last seven years designing homes across Sydney's Northern Beaches, from family homes in Collaroy to lakeside projects in Narrabeen, working with clients at every stage of life. The brief is always different. The thing people say afterwards is usually the same: you showed me something I couldn't see myself.

That's the part I love most, and it's exactly what I bring to every Bespoke Design project. It's also what shaped The Room Assembly, a series of design guides that bring that same eye to your own home, at your own pace. First Light is available now, with more rooms on the way.
